Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using RealRate (com.wiseinovatech.realrate), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These terms apply to all users of the app.

By using this app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old or using the app under parental supervision.

If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and discontinue use immediately.

App Usage

RealRate is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. The app is a financial calculator tool that helps you understand your real hourly rate after deducting hidden job costs. By using this app, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to disrupt or interfere with app functionality
• Not use automated tools or bots to interact with the app
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws
• Not manipulate app data or premium status via rooting or unauthorized means

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the app
• Copying, modifying, or distributing the app or its content
• Reselling or sublicensing the app to any third party
• Using the app to develop a competing product
• Removing or altering any copyright or proprietary notices

Financial Disclaimer

RealRate calculation results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or career advice. While we strive for accuracy:

• Results are estimates based on data you provide — accuracy depends on your inputs
• Tax calculations are approximations and may not reflect your exact tax situation
• Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) data uses reference indices and may not be current
• WiseInovatech is not liable for career or financial decisions made based on app results
• Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making major career or salary decisions

AI Coach Disclaimer

The AI Career Coach feature is powered by Google Gemini AI. By using this feature, you acknowledge:

• AI-generated tips are not professional career or financial advice
• Results are generated by an AI model and may not be accurate for your specific situation
• Your job data (title, rates, hidden costs) is sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate responses
• WiseInovatech is not liable for any outcomes resulting from AI-generated content
• The 7-day free trial for Yearly plan is available to first-time subscribers only

In-App Purchases

RealRate offers Premium plans via Google Play Billing:

• Premium Monthly ($4.99/month) — Auto-renewing, cancel anytime
• Premium Yearly ($29.99/year) — Auto-renewing with optional 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• Premium Lifetime ($49.99 one-time) — Permanent access, no recurring charges

Premium unlocks: Ad-free experience, unlimited AI Career Coach, instant PDF reports, full Buying Power Index tool, and unlimited calculation history.

• All payments processed by Google Play — we never see your payment information
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Cancel anytime via Google Play → Subscriptions
• Refunds subject to Google Play’s refund policy
• Free users may watch rewarded ads to temporarily unlock AI Coach, PDF export, and History

Advertisements

RealRate displays banner and rewarded ads via Google AdMob. By using the app, you acknowledge:

• Ads are served by Google AdMob and governed by Google’s advertising policies
• We do not control the content of third-party advertisements
• Ad display is ethical — no forced interstitials, no fake dialogs, no ads during onboarding
• EU/UK users are shown a GDPR consent form before any ads are initialized
• Premium subscribers enjoy a completely ad-free experience

Notifications

RealRate sends two types of notifications to keep you informed about your salary health:

• Push Notifications (FCM) — Delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging. Examples: Weekly Salary Audit reminders, Market Update alerts. Your device’s FCM token is used solely to route messages to your device and is not shared with third parties.
• Local Notifications — Scheduled entirely on-device via flutter_local_notifications. No data is transmitted for these. Examples: on-device salary review reminders.

• On Android 13+, the app will request POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission before sending any notification
• You may deny or revoke this permission at any time via Device Settings → Apps → RealRate → Notifications
• Disabling notifications does not affect core app functionality
• You can also manage notification preferences within the app via Settings → Notifications

Intellectual Property

All content within RealRate — app design, UI, calculation algorithms, branding, and AI prompts — is the exclusive property of WiseInovatech.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission. AI-generated content from the Career Coach feature belongs to the user, however WiseInovatech is not liable for its accuracy or completeness.

Limitation of Liability

WiseInovatech shall not be liable for any:

• Career or financial decisions made based on RealRate calculations
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from app use
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits related to calculation results
• Damages from app downtime, bugs, or technical issues
• Inaccuracies in AI Coach or Negotiation Tips content

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for Premium in the last 12 months (or $0 for free users).

Changes to Terms

WiseInovatech reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of RealRate after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where WiseInovatech operates. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
